Job Coach – (part-time)
Implements Individual Plan goals by providing coaching to individuals with disabilities (participants) in employment and work-related settings. Transports participants to interviews and employment appointments as required. Provides employment-related training assists participants in the development of interpersonal relations and accessing natural supports work site and community. Identifies and facilitates utilization of natural supports and job accommodations to promote and maintain competitive employment for participants. Provide the necessary support to enhance participant’s skills in order to meet employer’s expectations. Required high school diploma or equivalent. Prefer six months job coaching or equivalent experience. Able to lift, pivot and move participants in a safe manner.. Excellent oral and written communications. Must have valid driver’s license and proof of an insurable driving record. Must have reliable transportation. Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work with culturally diverse groups. Some knowledge of social and personal aspects of mental and physical health needs. Understand safety precautions within various industrial settings. CPR/ First Aid certification required. Computer skills necessary to complete reports and documentation. Criminal background check, TB test and drug screen required. Salary $9.50 per hour/20 hours per week.
