Body:
The Advertising Sales Representative is responsible for the following:
• Servicing and building existing relationships with accounts and agencies
• Researches and qualifies prospects as potential clients.
• Sells print advertising
• Cold calls potential clients to gather information and assess new opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records and contracts Provide insertion orders for production
• Coordinates mailings of media kits and follows up with clients
• Expedites artwork, following up with customers to ensure deadlines are met.
• Coordinates the approval process after design or content changes to advertisements.
• Complies with Favor policies and procedures.
• Respond and manage all day to day requests for information such as rate cards, closing dates, extension dates, insert pricing, position availability, comp lists, mechanical specs, etc.
• Meet or exceed sales targets
• Performs other tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
• University education or equivalent in Business/Marketing
• Previous experience in sales and marketing field
• Knowledge and interest in contemporary art
• Excellent computer skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self motivated and results orientated
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
